THREE CHRISTCHURCE RECIPIENTS AMERICAN COMING TO LINCOLN “The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, June 11. The United States Educational Foun< dation in New Zealand has announced awards under the Fulbright programme. which provides for United States citizens to come to New Zealand and for New Zealand citizens to travel to the United States for study, teaching or research. Miss Dorothy M. Bindon, M.A., lecturer in psychology at Canterbury University College, Christchurch, has an award to enable her to take up a teaching assistantship at the School of Speech. North-western University, Evanston. Illinois. Dr. Raymond R. Forster, assistant director, Canterbury Museum, Christchurch, has an award to undertake research at the Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University. Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr Francis M. Henderson, B.E. (Hons.), M.Sc., senior lecturer in civil engineering at the National School of Engineering. Canterbury University College, Christchurch, has received an award to take up a visiting lectureship at the College of Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Miss Bindon wilj leave New Zealand by the Rangitiki for Panama on August 25, and Dr. Forster and Mr Henderson will both depart on the Oronsay from Auckland on July 16. Mr John R. Rolloff. 8.5.. of Montevideo, Minnesota, will be arriving in January. 1957, to take up his award in agriculture at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln. He will be accompanied by his wife.
