SOCIAL CREDIT INDEPENDENT LEAGUE
Sir, —In “The Press” of Thursday last I see that Mr Ernest Yealands, who claims to have formed an organisation calling itself the Social Credit Independent League, also asserts that he was a “foundation member” of the New Zealand Social Credit Political League. So as to clarify the position, I would inform your readers that we have no foundation members of this league and the national secretary of the New Zealand Social Credit Association informs me that Mr E. Yealands is not on the roll of the association and has never been a member during the period covered by the records, which go back for several decades.—Yours, etc..
