GIFT TO PILGRIMS’ ASSOCIATION
A book entitled “Mount Peel is a Hundred,” which was published in connexion with the celebration of the recent centenary of Mount Peel Station, has been received by the Canterbury Pilgrims and Early Settlers’ Association as a gift from Mr J. Acland.
A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr J. C. Rolleston of Takapau, who was an honorary life member of the assoication, was passed at a recent meeting, and members stood as a mark of respect to his memory.
Three adults and 11 juniors have I been elected members of the association.
