Lebanese Government Resigns

(Rec. 8 p.m.) BEIRUT, June 6. The Lebanese Government led by Abdullah el Yafi resigned today after being in office for 10 weeks. President Camille Chamoun will begin consultations with political leaders to-night on the formation of a new government. The Government’s resignation was the result of a dispute over reconstruction plans for areas devastated by the earthquake on March 16.
