ST. MARGARET’S COLLEGE
PARENTS HOLD ANNUAL MEETING
Officers and members of the St. Margaret’s College Parent-Teacher Association were thanked at the annual meeting by the retiring president (Mr H. P. Smith) for their help in raising a debenture issue of £20,000 for building the new school.
A welcome was extended to parents of new girls. During the year, the association provided the college with a projector and an articulated skeleton.
Officers were elected as follows: president, Professor H. T. Adams, vice-presidents, Messrs R. A. Young and C. W. Hamann; secretary, Mr E A. Cleland; treasurer. Mr A. N. Stone; committee, Mesdames J. L. Macfarlane and J. W. Mosley, Messrs R. H. Clark. N. R. Parkes, C. S. Peate, J. H. Pickles and Dr. H. Jenner Wales, with two representatives of the women’s committee and two representatives of the staff; women’s committee, Mesdames J. H. Pickles, C. W. Hamann. F. C. O. Cox, C. S. Peate, G. Adamson. M. Guillermo. T. B. Lane, R H. Clark, N. R. Parkes. I. Gebbie. A. J. Benzie and J. K. McAlpine.
