NEW FERTILISER FROM UNITED STATES
INTRODUCTION IN NEW ZEALAND (New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 7. Negotiations are now under way in ; New Zealand for the introduction of 1 a new high-analysis fertiliser from i the United States. The fertiliser, it is said, could be of great interest to owners of marginal land. Representatives of the manufacturers have made extensive aerial and ground tours of Taranaki, have met farmers and agricultural leaders, and tomorrow will leave on a tour of the Dominion : to address distributor and farmer j ' groups. The fertiliser is described as a | , diammonium phosphate with a plant' ’ nutrient value of 74 per cent., three times the food value of Xertilisers at: . present used. j
