UNITED WOMEN’S CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the United Women's Bowling Club:— President, Mrs E. B. Rhodes; vicepresident, Mrs O. Congreve; secretarytreasurer, Mrs O. Smith; delegate. Mrs G Duns; Mrs Congieve; match committee, Mesdames A Mortland and J McDougall; committee. Mesdames M. Middleton. S. Heslin, M Griffiths, L. Watson, and F Jenkins; social committee, Mesdames Middleton. Duns. Watson, Heslin, Smith, Jenkins. E. Haybryne. E. Bromley, I. L. McDowell, and J. Forrester ST. ALBANS WOMEN’S CLUB Officers were elected at the annual meeting of the St. Albans Women’s Bowling Club as follows: President, Mrs McDavitt; vice-president, Mrs Harper; secretary, Mrs Barry; centre delegate. Mrs Batt; club umpire, Mrs Barker; match committee, Mesdames Ball, Leith, and Rolls; social committee, Mesdames Belton, Brosnan, Collins, Dinmead, Rogers, Wilson. Woody att, and Miss Webster. Results of competitions held during the season were:—
Championship singles, Miss N. Webster; championship pairs, Mesdames Renton and Mitchell (s); championship fours, Mesdames Collins, Belton, South, and Murray (s); handicap pairs. Mrs Belton and Miss Pitcaithley (s); president’s fours, Mesdames Collins, Woodyatt, Miss Pitcaithley, and Mrs Ball (s); rose bowl winners, Mesdames Renton, King, Harper, and Murray (s).
