(N.Z Press Association—Copyright)
(Rec. 8.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 6. Floyd Patterson was favoured at 12 to 5 on today as he and Tommy (Hurricane) Jackson finished training for their world heavy-weight championship elimination fight at Madison Square Garden on Friday evening. A majority of opinion considered Jackson would no' be able to inflict enough punishment on his opponent to win.
Patterson, on the other hand, has a reputation for knock-outs—he has won 2) of his 30 professional bouts that way.
