THE QUEEN AND THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH at the saluting base outside Buckingham Palace as the Guards marched past after the Queen’s Birthday Trooping the Colour ceremony last week. Her Majesty, wearing the uniform of Colonel-in-Chief of the Grenadier Guards, is mounted on the police horse Winston, 17 years old and now to be retired. The Duke of Edinburgh is in the uniform of Colonel of the Welsh Guards.
