Khrushchev The Conservative
(Rec. 11 p.m.) MOSCOW. June 6 The Soviet Communist Party leader, Mr Khrushchev, referring today to his British visit said: “I’m for the Conservatives.”
He was talking to Western Ambassadors at a Kremlin reception to Marshal Tito. Mr Khrushchev said he and the Soviet Prime Minister, Marshal Bulganin, had good negotiations with the British Conservative leaders during their visit to Britain last April. “But,” he added, “the Labour Party leaders were unpleasant to me."
Post Office in Antarctica.— Australia will open its second post office on the Antarctic mainland early next year The post office will be at Vestfold Hills, in Australian Antarctic territory A special postmark will be used and registration facilities will be available—Canberra, June 7.
