LONDON. June 5. That virulent, vulgar potion" gin. cocktail parties and cooking with wine are attacked in a report submitted to the Irish Presbyterian Church in Belfast. It says that gin has nowbeen elevated to the peerage. “Gin goes with everything and anything that can be swallowred. is persona grata in the bar. lounge, or saloon bar. at births. marriages, ’.eaths. at birthday parties and coming-of-age celebrations, in the drawing looms of the elite and in embassies of !n. sns,’’ the report said.
