93RD ANNIVERSARY OF FOUNDATION
The ninety-third anniversary of the foundation of St. John’s Church, Latimer square, will be celebrated on June 24. There will be a Communion service at 8 a.m. Masonic brethren will attend matins in the church at 11 a.m.. when the Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev. A. K. Warren) will preach A youth tea will be held at 5 p.m.
Men and women who were married in the church have been invited to attend evensong at 7 p.m., with former and present parishioners. Children of the parish will have their own celebration at a fancy dress party on June 23. and for adults there will be a social gathering on June 27.
