FOREST AND BIRD SOCIETY
“Regional sections of the Forest and Bird Protection Society of New Zealand will be changed to independent branches when the society meets in Wellington later this month.” said the secretary of the Christchurch section (Mr I. H. Gray) at the annual meeting last evening. “This move will make the present sections independent of Wellington and relieve the pressure of work on the head office.” Until the branch is formed and officers elected, the section committee will be as follows: Misses M. Davis, N. Dobbs, M. Scott, Messrs A. B. Grubb. F. L. Budden, R. J. Sladen, W. J. Harris, and H. E. Hart. Colour slides were shqwn by Mr Pray and Mr W. Richardson.
