SIR WILLOUGHBY NORRIE

VISIT TO N.Z. CLUB IN LONDON

LONDON, June 2. The Governor-General, Sir Willoughby Norrie, was presented with a London New Zealand Cricket Club tie by Mr E. R. T. Holmes, the club’s president, when he was entertained at Bath Club by the committee and honorary members.

Sir Willoughby Norrie, accepting the tie dotted with crossed silver ferns and the City of London sword, said that he looked forward to joining the club when he returned to England after his term of office. A welcome was also extended by Mr Holmes to Sir William Jordan, who is paying a brief visit to London. Sir Willoughby Norrie will leave London on June 10 on his return flight to New Zealand by way of the United States.
