FAREWELL TOUR OF N.Z. STATIONS
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 7. To say goodbye to the men he has commanded, the retiring Chief of the Air Staff (Air Vice-Marshal W H Merton) will make a farewell tour of ell R.N.Z.A.F. stations in New Zealand. starting tomorrow with visits to Te Rapa and Whenuapai. On Wednesday he wiU visit Hobsonville, and on Friday Taieri and Wigram. He will sav goodbye at Ohakea on May 15, and 8. Woodbourne on May 22. Air Vice-Marshal Merton will leave Wellington for England on June 9 f’r Commodore C. E. Kay will take ' S as Chlel of the Air Staff on
