About the middle of the week, the Secretary-General plans to Give all United Nations members copies of his final report, so that they can speed it home to their governments for study and instructions.

The Secretary-General has said that he received unconditional pledges from Israel and Egypt for a cease-fire, and that he negotiated for similar agreements with the others, getting “positive results.”
