TOWN PLANNING
Sir, —I Wish to commend the Town Planning Board for refusing permission to a city break-down service to extend its activities in a residential area. This garage is situated among valuable city properties, to which it is not an asset. Panel-beating is heard for long periods of time, and sometimes a chimney discharges dark oilysmelling Smoke. No doubt a breakdown service is essential to a community. but it should not be housed in a residential area.—Yours, etc.. NEIGHBOUR. May 5, 1956.
