“NATO A Virile Alliance”
LONDON. May 6. The British Foreign Secretary (Mr Selwyn Lloyd) said today. “We have grounds for modified confidence in the future.” He had just returned from the NATO Council meeting in Paris. “One thing is absolutely wrong—that NATO is in difficulties.” said Mr Lloyd. “It has proved itself again to be a robust and virile alliance and there was a very high degree of agreement among us.”
