WOMEN’S INSTITUTES
Pines Beach.—Birthday sprays were presented to Mesdames E. Rennie and L Neale at the annual meeting of the Pines Beach Country Women’s Institute. The following officers were elected:—President, Mrs E. Martin: vice-presidents. Mesdames W. Turton and L. Neale; secretary, Mrs M. Weastell; treasurer, Mrs R. Staples; committee, Mesdames Beaven, Brown, Fell, and Scott. Lakeside.—A new member was welcomed at the annual meeting of the Lakeside Country Women's Institute. Birthday sprays were presented to four members. Mrs W. Husband was elected president. Mrs W. Quigley was appointed delegate to the annual conference. Little River.—The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Little River Country Women’s Institute:—President. Mrs J. Grant; vice-presi-dents. Mesdames M. Wilkins, N. Wright, and Mrs L. Hunt; secretary, Mrs L. J. Joblin; assistant-secretary, Mrs P. N. Ussher; treasurer, Mrs J. Millard; committee. Mesdames M. Wilkins, L. S. Radford, J. Evans. W. Jones, N. Wright, 11. Cameron. L. Hunt, E. E. Batten, P.' N. Ussher, T. G. Lee, and officers.
