FORMER N.Z. RIDER WINS IN MELBOURNE (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, March 11. Tv\enty-three-year-old Frank Newstros'zi. formerly of New Zealand, yesterday won the seyen-mile Moomba cycling handicap around the Fitzroy Gardens by a length against a strong field of 52. Newstroski, who now rides for the Melbourne club of Richmond. off 65sec headed a Melbourne rider, Stan Eade (35sec) in a tight finish with New South Wales rider Barry Robins (35sec) half a length away, third. Newstroski has been living in Melbourne for about 15 months.
