ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION In spite of the set-back caused by the recent fire at Xavier College, it was hoped to proceed with plans for developing the new playing field in Wilsons road and erecting by voluntary labour a dressing and implement shed, said the retiring president of the college Parent-Teacher and Friends’ Association (Mr C. D. Francis) at the annual meeting recently. Officers were elected as follows: President, M E. J. Ironside; vicepresident. Mr L. J. Wilson; secretary, Mr W. P. Lane; treasurer, Mr D. J.
