WAGE RISE FOR FORD EMPLOYEES

Ford Motors and its associated companies in Britain had agreed to pay rises for nearly 40.000 men and women estimated to cost £1,300,000 a year, “The Times” said yesterday. Unskilled workers will receive an increase of 3d an hour, and craftsmen and semi-skilled workers will receive an increase of 4d an hour.
