WAGE RISE FOR FORD EMPLOYEES
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, March 7. Ford Motors and its associated companies in Britain had agreed to pay rises for nearly 40.000 men and women estimated to cost £1,300,000 a year, “The Times” said yesterday. Unskilled workers will receive an increase of 3d an hour, and craftsmen and semi-skilled workers will receive an increase of 4d an hour.
