TOUR OF BRITAIN BY MALENKOV

Inspection Of Power Stations (Rec. 10 p.m.) MOSCOW. March 6. The former Soviet Prime Minister (Mr Georgi Malenkov), who was denosed last year, tonight smilingly confirmed that he would soon be visiting Britain, but refused to disclose the exact date. “It would not be proper.” he told Western reporters who questioned him at a Kremlin reception for the visiting Danish Prime Minister. Earlier today it was announced in London that Mr Malenkov, now a Deputy Premier and Minister of Electrical Power Stations, had accepted the invitation of the Soviet Relations Committee of the British Council to lead a delegation of 12 Russian electrical power station experts to Britain. The delegation is expected to arrive in London in about 10 days and might stay for two or three weeks, the announcement said.

Asked by the reporters what he planned to look for in Britain, Mr Malenkov broke into a grin and said: “We never refuse to go to see good things which are in England.” Asked to make some comment on the visit, he replied: “Everything in good time. Every vegetable has its season.”
