RIFLE SHOOTING
HAYCOCK OUTSTANDING 'T SERVICES’ MEETING (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. February 16. Warrant Officer F. B. Haycock, of the Royal New Zealand Air Force station at Hobsonville, was the outstanding shot in the combined services’ rifle meeting at Trentham. He won seven cups and prizes. The meeting ended today Warrant Officer Haycock won the Air Force Queen's Medal, the Dix Cup for the best air force grand aggregate, the Watt Cup for the best aggregate for special service matches, the long-range aggregate trophy, the revolver and Priest trophies for the individual revolver champion ot the meeting, and the Navy Cup for highest score in the special service series Lieutenant John C. Naylor, a member of the Wellington Division of the Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserve, won the Navy Queen's Medal.
