£237,706 HANDLED ON SATURDAY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 8. The Totalisator Agency Board handled bets of £237,706 5s on yesterday's six racing and trotting meetings. The total comprised win-and-place bets of £114,543 10s and doubles of £123.162 15s. Totals for the individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were:— Cambridge, £32.080 15s (Great Evander) Greymouth. £9269 15s (Care). Kurow, £15.863 10s (Big Ben).
