NEW LIBRARIAN FOR LYTTELTON
Mrs D. Bennett, who will take up her duties fcs librarian at the Lyttelton Public Library this week, was formerly on the staff of the Canterbury Public Library, Christchurch, where she was for a time in charge of the reference library. Later. Mrs Bennett visited England and'worked in the Leeds City Library. In England she qualified as an associate of the British Library Association. Other positions held by Mrs Bennett were those of cataloguer at the Kingston-on-Hull Library, and librarian at the Footscray Library. Melbourne.
Miss E. A. Champion, who resigned as librarian at Lyttelton, will take up a position in Melbourne.
