Papanui road. Mrs Baynes was formerly Brenda JewelL Miss Mildred Mode left last evening -for the Arabino Girl Guide Training Centre near Marton. She expects to spend another month in New Zealand before leaving for Australia. Miss Mode is United States Gin Guide World Bureau travelling Commissioner in the Pacific. Hampton presided at the Christmas party for children given by the Lakeside Country Women s Institute. Birthday sprays were presented to five members.
