POLICE FIND MISSING GIRL’S BODY
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 5. The body of Ann Purcell, aged 6, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. K. Purcell, of 64 Epsom avenue, Auckland, who had been missing from the beach at Kikowhakarere Bay, five miles from Coromandel, for eight days, was recovered this afternoon. by a police party from some rocks on the eastern side of Waimate Island.
