E. D. WHITE WINS THREE TITLES
(New zeaiatm Press Association) HASTINGS, Januarv 4. E. D. White (Auckland), who recently won the singles at the Ndw Zealand Roman Catholic tennis tournament, took three more titles today at the North Island championships. He b6at D. Munro (Rotorua), 8-6, 6-1, in the men's singles, and with R. Keenan (Auckland) beat J. Charters and T. Withers (Hawke’s Bay), 1-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the men's "doubles.
With Miss R. Morrison (Auckland), White won the mixed doubles from J. Charters and Miss A. Kennedy (Hawke's Bay).
In the final of the women’s singles. Miss Ruai Morrison (Auckland) beat Miss Judy Davidson (Canterbury). 6-3? 8-6.
In the women's doubles final. Misses S. Birchall and R. Morrison (Auckland) beat Mesdames P. Shirley and E. Stanley (Auckland). 6-4, 6-2.
