The Central Council of Jews in Germany today started legal proceedings against Professor Carl Clauberg a former high-ranking S.S. medical officer, whom it accused of responsibility for sterilizing thousands of Jewish women at the Auschwitz concentration camp. Professor Clauberg said when he returned recently from captivity in Russia, that if Jewish women had not become his “guinea pigs” they would have been gassed by the Nazi concentration camp authorities.
