REMAND ON CHARGE OF MURDER
(New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL. October 21. A further remand was granted in the Invercargill Magistrate’s Court this morning in the case in which Mrs Margaret Elizabeth Anderson, aged 34, is charged with murdering her son. Kenneth James Anderson, aged four and a half months, on September 16, at Waimatuku.
Mrs Anderson was remanded until November 4 with the consent of her counsel, Mr John Russell. Senior-Detective A. W. McDougall asked for the remand so that a further medical examination could be made.
