SOCIAL CREDIT IN ALBERTA
Sir, —I wish to express my appreciation to you for printing today a fair report of a survey by the Reserve Bank of prosperity in Alberta. This will be very enlightening to those of all political hues. It goes to show what can be done with sound policy, even though the Government has never had the opportunity to implement Social Credit. What an indictment to our own Government and past ones that they have not adopted the “pay as you go” policy. It must be clear to all that only places which have “a pay as you go” policy have reduced their debts. Those two places have Social Credit governments and the sound policy to do this. What better testimony for a Social Credit government than the survey by the Reserve Bank can we have?—Yours, etc., D. G. C. PRATT. October 20, 1955.
