Soviet Pianist in New York
Emil Gilels, the Soviet pianist, will be the soloist, and Sir William Walton, the British composer, will conduct one of his own works at a special United Nations Day concert in the General Assembly hall next Monday. Leonard Bernstein, the American conductor and composer, will conduct the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, except in the Walton work.—New York, October 10.
