JAMELL NOT TO RUN AT GORE
"The Press' Special Service DUNEDIN, October 19. Jamell. top-weight in the Members’ Handicap, the first leg of the double at Gore on Saturday, win not fulfil his engagement. He has not fully recovered from the upset he received last week, and he will be reserved for the New Zealand Cup meeting at Riccarton. Rex Robe, which holds an engagement in the Kalwera Handicap, is unlikely to make the journey, as he has been slightly injured. The Wingatui trainer, R. Heasley, left for Trentham today to superivse the final preparation of Sir Gerald, which will be ridden in the Heretaunga Hack Handicap on the second day of the Wellington Racing Chib’s meeting by W. J. Broughton.
