SOMERSET FAIR’S PROGRAMME
TO CONTEST CANTERBURY STAKES ON SATURDAY

SYDNEY, Aug. 29. The connexions of Somerset Fair plan to give him one more -race before they decide his Sydney and Melbourne spring programme.
Their present intention is to start the horse in the Canterbury Stakes (six furlongs) next Saturday. They will then rnnounce whether Somerset Fair will stay in Sydney Io contest the Epsom or miss that race and go to .Melbourne.
Bookmakers have made. Somerset Fair an even shorter-priced favourite for the Ensom since his close second to Prince Cortauld in the V’arwick Stakes on Satur-
