Better Harvest In Jugoslavia
(Rec. 8 p.m.) BELGRADE, Aug. 28. Jugoslavs hope that a good, wheat harvest this year will help to check a deteriorating economic situation at home.
Initial reports from farms throughout the country say that this year’s harvest has been well above average, in contrast to last year’s, which was the worst Jugoslavia had ever known. In spite of the post-war policy of industrialisation. the harvest is still a basic factor in assessing Jugoslavia’s economic well-being.
