NAVAL DOCK MEN TO RESUME
Strike Since July 4 In Australia (Rec. 10 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 29. Tradesmen at Australia’s two major naval dockyards, who have been on strike over a wages dispute since July 4, today voted to return to work tomorrow. The decision was taken at mass meetings at Garden Island dockyard, Sydney, where 4000 men are on strike, and at Williamstown, Victoria, where 800 men walked off the job. The resumption terms provide for a conference within 14 days with the Navy Board on outstanding wage increase claims by the workmen.
