CLERKS OF WORKS’ OFFICERS
The Canterbury and Westland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Clerks of Works held its tenth annual general meeting recently. • The institute had had a very successful year, and reputable professional men of the district had come forward and givep talks. on various topics covering parts of the building industry, said tne chairman (Mr F. Bridges) in his report. Officers elected were: chairman, Mr F. Bridges: deputy-chairman, Mr R. Wilkins; branch board, Messrs R. Gibbs, W. Pester, D. Nielson, H. Yeatman; auditor, Mr B. De Wilde; secretary, Mr G. Mundy; educational committee, Messrs W. H. Baldwin, R. Gibbs, H. Yeatman, F. Parker, B. De Wilde.
