NEW ZEALANDER WINS TASMANIAN TOUR (N.Z. Press Association—Copy right) HOBART. August 9. Battling against tetrific head winds and teeming rain which flooded the roads, the New Zealander, Neil Geraghty, put up a ddgged performance to Win the 400-mile cycling tour of northern Tasmania, which .ended late yesterday. After a gruelling 120-mile final stage, during which he clung tenaciously to a sjim time lead, Geraghty finished with a total aggregate time of 16hr 4lmin 46sec. This was lOmin better thari th 4 time registered by J. Johns, of New South Wales. W. Lowrle, of Victoria, was third In 17hr 4min 59sec, and J. Nevin (Victoria) was fourth in 17hr Bmin 55sec.
