INTER-DOMINION CARNIVAL
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 10. A total of £36,600 in prize money will be distributed by the New South Wales Trotting Club for the inter-Dominion championship carnival at Harold Park next year. The carnival will extend over four nights—those of February 11, 15, 18, and 25. An Australian record prize of £12,000 will be offered for the Inter-Dominion Final. This will be staged on the last night. Qualifying Trials at Addington The first race at the Canterbury Owners’ and Breeders’ Association’s Qualifying Trials at Addington today, Thursday, August 11, commences at 11 a.m. A collection will be taken in aid of thi St. John Ambulance. —Advt.
