CHARITY MATCH ON SUNDAY
BUS FARES TO BE ADDED TO APPEAL FUND When special buses take spectators to the Rugby match to be played at the Show Grounds on Sunday to assist the Rotary Club’s aged appeal, ordinary fares will be charged for adults and children, but the fares will also be given to the appeal fund. The drivers have volunteered to drive the buses free of charge. The match, between the Christchurch Police and the combined newspapers, will be preceded by a varied programme of entertainment. Admission for adults will be Is at the gate, and children under 12 years of are will be admitted free.
