GENEVA
Sir, —It is indeed a matter of supreme regret that our powerful Western press, in striking contrast to the efforts of the worth-while politicians and scientists, has not yet decided to swing in behind the modern idea of co-existence with right goodwill instead of pursuing its hoary tale of doubt, suspicion, and destructive criticism of the other fellow. Surely it is time for it to contribute something constructive to the efforts of the Big Four and the current scientific congress on atomic energy by supporting something in the nature of (a) an international secretariat of economic affairs, (b) an international secretariat for the dissemination of constructive news, and (c) governmental support for Esperanto on a universal scale.—Yours, W. J. COLLINS. August 10, 1955.,
