FACILITIES FOR EXPEDITION
OFFER BY LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD • The Lyttelton Harbour Board agreed yesterday to offer its port facilities to the New Zealand Antractic Expedition. Lyttelton had close associations with previous expeditions to the Antarctic, said the chairman (Mr F. E. Sutton), in suggesting that the board should offer the same facilities as it did ships of the Navy. The expedition would need a base, he said.
