OBITUARY

REV. J. G. T. CASTLE (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 9. The death occurred on Sunday of the Rev. J. G. T. Castle, who had been living in retiree ent at Eastbourne since he returned to Nev.- Zealand two years ago after living in England for the previous 20 years. Born at Wellington 70 years ago, Mr Castle had a distinguished career both as a school teacher and a clergyman. Before being ordained in 1911, he was on the staffs of the Waitaki Boys’ High School and Wellington College. Mr Castle was associated with the Anglican ministry of the Wellington diocese in various Wellington parishes, and later was in charge of the Eltham parish. Subsequently, he returned to school teaching, and was later headmaster of Heretaunga School, Havelock North (now known as Here*orth). and King's School. Remucra. He is survived by his wife, two sons, and* two daughters.
