YOUNG FARMERS TO TOUR VICTORIA
TIMARU MAN SELECTED (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 29. i Mr James A. Steven, of Rosewill, Timaru, was today selected as the New Zealand young farmers’ representative to tour Victoria under an exchange scheme sponsored by the Bank of New South Wales. He’will leave Christchurch by air on July 14 for Melbourne and will for three months be the guest of Victorian young farmers’ clubs. The Australian young farmer representative. Mr Ivan C. Werner, arrived in New Zealand on June 10 and will return from Auckland on September 27. He is staying with young farmers throughout the Dominion and they are showing him as many aspects of New Zealand farming as possible.
