Danish King In Film On Royal Day
(N.Z.P.A.—Reuter—Copzjrtght) COPENHAGEN. June 19. King Frederik of Denmark will star in a 15-minute film, believed to be the first apart from newsreels in which a reigning monarch has ever taken part. The film, “A Day with the King,” will be produced by the Government’s Official Film Committee and distributed abroad through the Foreign Ministry Press Office. King Frederik, aged 56. has read through the script and approved it—-
after making some comments and corrections. The film will show not-the familiar Royal public appearance, but the heavy routine work done by a modern constitutional monarch in an average day.
