R.N.Z.A.F. FITTERS RETURN
TRAINING AT HALTON COMPLETED Back in New Zealand after four years spent with the Royal Air Force in England are 13 Royal New Zealand Air Force apprentices, who are now undergoing a course of familiarisation at the R.N.Z.A.F. station. Wigram. It is their first real association with ths Royal New Zealand Air Force. Before they left for England they had been in the Air Force only three weeks. All are now corporal fitters. The first three of their four years in England were spent at the Royal Air Force ground training school, Halton. After completing courses there they were posted to R.A.F. stations for service training for a year. At the general service training school. Wigram, where they are under the command of Flight Lieutenant A. J. Clark, officer commanding the school, they will be introduced to the R.N.Z.A.F. way of doing things. They are: Corporals C. A. Shaw, R. C. Oliver. H. R. Holland. R. E. Thomas, D. A. Carter, J. M. McLean, D. G. Eves. W. H. Howell. J. G. Pratt, C. K. Smith, and S. N. West.
