HORSES ESCAPE FROM YARD
Adan, a candidate for the Winter Handicap at the Ashburton Trotting Club's. winter meeting yesterday, and Skean Dhu escaped from their yard at M. Holmes's Yaldhurst stables on Sunday evening. A search was made for them on Sunday night, but they were not found until yesterday, morning, by which time they had made their way to the yards at ths Islington freezing works. Neither horse was any the worse for i its experience, but Adan was not taken s to Ashburton.
