Premier Chooses Two Cabinets
(<Rec. 9 p.m.) MELBOURNE, June 6. Victoria’s new Premier. Mr H. E. Bolte, spent the week-end on his sheep farm 70 miles from Melbourne choosing two Cabinets—one all LiberalCountry Party members, and the other a coalition with the Country Party. The framing of two Cabinets is a precaution against a possible upset in the three doubtful seats after last week’s election. Week-end counting of results will put them out of doubt today and enable the new Cabinet to be announced.
Mr Bolte will seek a coalition ministry only when it is beyond doubt that the Liberal-Country Party will not gain a majority. At present the party needs one of the doubtful seats to establish a “pure" Cabinet and give it a one-vote lead in the 66-*nember Assembly.
