LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD
MR A. A. MACFARLANE NEW MEMBER Mr A. A. Macfarlane has been appointed a member of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, to represent the combined district of the counties of Cheviot, Amuri, Waipara, Kowai and Ashley. Mr Macfarlane, whose appointment is notified in this week’s Gazette, willi replace Mr J. K. McAlpine, who resigned from the board after appointment to Cabinet rank. As Minister of Marine, Mr McAlpine signed the notice in the Gazette of his successor’s appointment.
